WHS Policy

Dunmain requires that Workplace Health and Safety matters are a primary consideration in all its activities.

The well-being of our employees and those working with, for and in the vicinity of Dunmain projects are of fundamental importance in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

The establishment and maintenance of Dunmain’s Safety Management System is in compliance with AS/NZS 4801-2001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems).

Environmental Policy

Dunmain is a civil construction company providing high quality construction services to the utility service and supply industries. The utility service industry provides the network for electricity supply, data transfer and general energy supplies for the community.

An Environmental Management System is maintained in compliance with AS/NZS ISO 14001 latest editions. The current industry specific standards are considered an essential basis for the safe operation of the process as well as ensuring the environmental effects of those processes are controlled.

Quality Policy

It is the organization’s policy to be one of the leading Australian Civil Contractors and Project Managers for the Construction and Installation of assets for clients within its size range and capability.

This objective will be achieved by consistently meeting customer’s reasonable expectations as to construction specifications and delivery of professional services within an agreed time frame and the provision of competitive pricing.

Dunmain carries out civil and communications infrastructure construction and installation works from its premises at Belfield NSW.

The establishment and maintenance of a Quality Management System in compliance with AS/NZS ISO 9001 latest edition is considered an essential basis for this process.

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Dunmain prohibits the illegal use, possession, transportation, or sale of drugs and the unauthorized use of alcoholic beverages, firearms, or explosives during work hours.

Workers must not report for duty under the influence of any drug, alcoholic beverage, intoxicant, or other substance, including legally prescribed drugs and medicines, which will in any way, affect work ability, alertness, coordination, response, or risk the safety of fellow workers or the general public.

To ensure that all people entering a work site are fit for duty and free from impairment whilst at work, mandatory drug and alcohol testing procedures will be introduced.

These testing procedures will be carried out by any company that Dunmain Pty Ltd does work for.

Consultation Statement

Smoking Policy

To protect the health and well-being of all employees, contractors and visitors Dunmain is a smoke free workplace.

Smoking is not permitted on any work site or within any company vehicles or equipment. Smoking is not permitted in any Dunmain offices or warehouses, except in the designated areas.
